2012-2013 has been an exciting year for SIM DreamWerkz as we have been actively participating in competitions, sending out mainly 2 teams - WhateverWerkz and NewBornz.
However, during March 2013, we took part in one of the biggest, highly anticipated and most recognised dance competition in Singapore: Singapore Dance Delight.
The amount of preparation put into this competition by both teams was tremendous. Not to mention, it was the first time we had to perform in front of such a large audience, getting judged by the world's renowned dancers.
Fast forward to the actual competition day, everything we had ever imagined or pictured in our heads was amplified. The stage, the audience sitting, the competitors' skills... EVERYTHING!
Although we didn't manage to get past the preliminary stage, but all the effort and time put in had paid off because the experience we got was simply amazing and could never have been bought or traded for the world. It was, simply put, a once in a lifetime experience. Perhaps we weren't ready this time and our skills aren't up to par coupled by the fact that competition was stiff, but I believe one day DreamWerkz will be back on that stage again to wow the audience and make a name for our dance club.
As long as we have the hunger to always improve ourselves, anything can happen.

To get through a competition this intense, it would never have been possible without the help of people like:
Xuehui & Allegra, who constantly gave us feedback on our pieces and guided us along the way, never giving up on us and keeping us in their prayers.
DJ Trafflock aka Weixiang, who helped to mix our songs and was always on his tippy toes, ready to edit anything regarding our tracks anytime, yes even @ 3 in the morning.
Evon & Yifang, who came on the day itself (super early) to help us with our make up and hair 'cuz they knew we would never be able to do a better job than them :D
& of course, everyone who supported us (regardless of whether you were physically there), each and every one of you. So much love going on there... We are beyond touched!
