Next Training
Date: 29 Jul 09 (wed)
Venue: SIM HQ Foyer (Just outside GrandHall- the one with watercooler)
Time: 530pm, 7pm Respectively. Be there early!
-From next training onwards, Notices would no longer be sent thru emails!!
Hence pls check the blog and Facebook regularly for training updates.
-Pls be in proper Attire. STRICTLY NO JEANS OR ANY TIGHT FITTING BOTTOMS.
-For those who have not made payment yet, pls do so this Wed.
-Videos for Last weeks' class is alr up on Facebook! Check it out in DWZ!

Apologise that Class A haven gotten any yet. Will post it up the next time we video down!
Vids gives us better understanding of ourselves. Cuz while doing the action we may not notice how we might look, hence if you think you look weird.. or walking same hand same leg, pls practice.
Also if you have the flair for designing, DWZ needs you!
We wan you to design a Club Tshirt for the members of DWZ and your contribution would be rewarded! Designer of the selected piece would receive FREE TSHIRTS! Thats to say if we print in 3 colours, you get 3 FREE TSHIRTS!
send in ur design now to jasmine_ysq@hotmail.com , multiple designs are welcomed.

Hi to all Juniors!
Thanks for the prompt replies regarding booking of time slots!
All of you are already assigned a class. Pls check to see which class you belong to.
Some reminders.
1. Pls be at least 15min early for class. As latecoming affect the other students in class, DWZ treats it seriously.
2. Once you have reached, mark your attendance.
3. Come in proper attire. Tight bottoms are not allowed. Refrain from wearing jeans, slippers/sandels. Covered shoes ONLY.
Payment
Payment is made on the first lesson. Somebody would be collecting the fees before the start of the lesson. Hence i would need you guys to reach early so as to go thru the admin stuff. Pls bring an exact amount of $70 to facilitate collection. For new members, $10 registration fee is applicable.
How to get there?
From Clementi Central (Bus interchange)
Bus no. 7, 156, 165, 92, 560
Stop at Opp Pandan Valley Condo or after you see SIM Yo:ha (Its a big sign outside the hostel)
From SIM HQ (school)
Bus no. 61, 75
Stop at Opp Pandan Valley Condo or after you see SIM Yo:ha (Its a big sign outside the hostel)
Way inside the Hostel
Once you have reached, proceed to the guard house.
Bring along your SIM student card to exchange for a visitor pass.
Walk straight, pass Edelwisse Block, turn right and up the slope.
You should see a small green block with many many vertical windows. Thats the studio!

Junior announcement
Hi all soon-to-be-DWZ-Members!!
I guess most of you should have received my call by now. Just some announcements to let you know.
1. System of Junior Class

3. Commencement of JUNIOR TEAM!

1. DWZ System
We will be changing the system of our beginners course into a Junior Team of DWZ.
Team members will not have to stop dancing after 8 weeks course.
There will be consistent trainings and practices every week.
Just like any other CCA!
We want to change DWZ into a big family and to allow members to bond and share their common interest!
There will be showcases organised for juniors occasionally and...
An internal audition ONLY FOR JUNIORS will be held once every 6 months to bring dancers with great potential to a higher level to join our ADVANCE TEAM (Senior) and become part of our performing crew.
Workshops will also be organised for our DWZ member for exposure and try out different styles and genre of dance, inviting external instructors to SIM!

Time: 530pm OR 7pm
Venue: SIM Ulu Pandan Campus (Dance Studio)
Duration: 1.5hrs / class
Instructor: Allegra from Oschool
Price: $70 for every 2 months
($10 registration fees applies for new members)

Class for Junior would start on 22 July 09 (Wed)!!
Some lil notes..
1. Pls be early, reach at least 15min before class. DWZ takes late coming seriously as it would disturb the class.
2. Dress Appropriately. Strictly no jeans, slippers/sandals allowed! Dress should allow movement, eg Tshirt, Baggy longpants/Berms, covered shoes.
3. There's no need to prepare anythg else, just come and enjoy!
Also, pls check your time slot. I have called most of you to ask for your preferred time, but not all picked up. Hence I have made a list of names.
Pls check against your name and time slot. If I have allocated a wrong slot for you reply this email and let me know. For those not allocated, means you missed my call, hence reply this mail ASAP with ur preferred time! as the slots are really filling fast! esp the 530 slot! its now left with only 4 more slot!
DWZ keeps a cap of 35 pax per class so that Allegra can teach more efficiently. Members who fail to reply by the time both classes max out, would have to wait till the next intake around Jan 2010!
